Earworm Instrumentals!
What’s up Earworm Family? Grim Singmuf here to tell you about my instrumental vibes. I got several albums of just instrumental music. Some are more for chilling and listening, others are more for lyricists. If you are into chill laid back hip hop you would probably dig the vibes I drop on albums like “I Heard the Cries of a Dying Star.”
I love this artwork, it takes me back to the days I was on a DIY Cassette label called G.O.A.T BEETZ. As previously mentioned some of these instrumentals are made more with a lyricist in mind. There are several albums on the streaming sites that contain these types of instrumentals. Each with its own theme. For example, “Rhode Island Rap” contains instrumentals inspired by different towns and waterways in my home state. Peep this track called “Pawtucket” of Rhode Island Rap:
From us to you!
Each time I open my DAW and break out a sampler or drum machine, I strive to create a different vibe! Sometimes it is for me or my homies to rhyme too, or just for chilling, sometimes for others to write too, and also as a means of experimentation and exercise. I feel with music the possibilities are endless!
We provide the knowledge and tools here to make your own unique soundscapes. From our drum, loop, and sampler packs, to our articles on sound design, as well as our forums. More to come!
My newest instrumental album is more for listening, but you can definitely rhyme to it as well. It is called “Beats from the Depths.” The theme is Lovecraftian in nature. Each song is named after an elder god, these instrumentals are performed on an Sp-404 after creating various loops in FL Studio. My method is to create and extract loops and then add them to specific pads in the SP, then I play them out as I see fit. Fun stuff! Peep the artwork:
There is still more to come, and as time goes on you may see more instrumentals from the various artists on Earworm Entertainment be available for your listening or rapping pleasure! Stay tuned in! It’s Earworm all day!
